Orders are painted once they are prepaid by check or credit card.
Orders normally ship approximately 14 days after payment is received (unless something strange happens, like I get the flu). Sometimes you might get lucky and catch me all caught up. In that case, your order will ship more quickly. I'll give you an ETA when you place the order.
Rush orders are accepted and require a $20 up-charge. Yes, I will drop everything and paint yours right now, but it'll cost you.
I want you to be happy with your pet portrait. If you're not happy, you may return the painting and receive a full refund or a replacement. If you're not happy with the second painting, I'll refund your money and we'll have to agree I'm probably just not the artist for you.
Postage is expensive, but it also stinks to lose your painting in the black hole that is sometimes the US Postal Service. So, you have a choice. I can charge you $3 and mail your painting in a 6"x 9" envelope, safely packaged, via USPS first class mail. I post my mail from an actual post office, rather than trusting that a carrier will get it there dry, unbent, etc. If you choose this method of shipping and the envelope gets lost, you're out of luck.
Priority Mail shipping will cost you $7. The flat rate envelope will be tracked, and if it gets lost USPS will pay up to $50 of insurance at no extra cost. It's your choice. Fair warning, I'm going to say "I told you so" if you choose option one and things go wonky.
Just click on the Place Order link at the top right side of the page (if you're on a mobile device, click the three lines at the top left of the screen and then select the Place Order link) and fill out the form.
